The Manager made the revelation in a chat with Sport TV saying: “I am convinced that in this winter market we will be sellers and not buyers.
“We want to raise pounds to attack in the summer, as we did this year with the contract of four players.”
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and club owners the Glazers have backed Mourinho but clearly also want to recoup money to put into the kitty for the summer of 2017 swoops.

The restiveness of my heart became too much, so I went to see my grandfather and informed him about my sudden change of feelings towards a woman I so much loved and trusted before.
My grandfathers told me that it may not be anything to worry about and that I should call the girl and ask her whether she has been cheating on me.
So, I invited the girl and told her that she must tell me the truth, whether she has been cheating on me since we met. I told her that failure to tell me the truth would be the end of our relationship that day and that I am aware she has been cheating on me, but if she still denies it again that day, I will end our relationship.
I also promised her that whatever truth she will say, I will forgive her, provided she promises not to do it again.
She was denying, but after noticing that I was serious to end the relationship that day, she started crying and was asking me if she opens up whether I will still forgive her and go ahead to marry her, and I said yes.
I got the shock of my life when she told me that she has slept with 12 different men on many times within the said four years we know each other.
I became devastated and fell sick. After some weeks, I recovered and vowed not to do anything with her again. I have informed her that our proposed marriage in December would no longer hold and that she is now free to choose any man she wishes for marriage.
Now, our families are calling me names and begging me not to disgrace them by canceling the marriage with the girl, which many people have started hearing about. And the girl is threatening to kill me and kill herself if I leave her to marry another woman.
The advice I want from you is how to deal with my family and her own family to understand my feelings.

Twins who died after spraying insecticide in their room. (See photos)

Twin sisters, Jessica and Jessilove Oduro, who reportedly passed away after sleeping in a room they sprayed with insecticide in order to kill insects, have been buried. The girls were found unconscious on their beds the following morning and immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead. May their souls rest in peace.

Boateng sued for unpaid 250,000 euros deposit

Jerome Boateng has been taken to court over an unpaid deposit of 250,000 euros ($265,590) as the Bayern Munich star battles to be fit for their Champions League clash against Arsenal.

A laywer representing the Germany defender was in Munich’s district court on Wednesday over the unpaid bill of a quarter of a million euros, plus tax – a deposit on a villa in the Bavarian capital.
The estate agent, who took Boateng to court, offered to reduce the sum to 220,000 euros, which Boateng’s lawyer rejected, while the judge has suggested the matter be settled for 185,000.

Now both parties have three weeks to accept the compromise.
Boateng’s lawyer told German daily Bild that the footballer was prevented from appearing in court in person “due to other appointments”.

The defender underwent an operation on his right shoulder on December 20 and faces a race against time to be fit for Bayern’s Champions League last 16 clash at home to Arsenal on February 15 with the away leg on March 7.

According to magazine Kicker, which spoke to the surgeon who operated on the Germany star, Boateng will not be fit until the start of March.
Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti had originally expected to have the centre-back fit after the winter break, which ends on January 20 when Bundesliga leaders Bayern are away to Freiburg.

The Grammy Awaes winner achieved that feat with both of his comeback singles, ‘ Castle On The Hill’ and ‘Shape Of You’ . The singles will precede the release of his third album, entitled ‘÷’, which will arrive later in the year.

Both songs smashed the existing Spotify record for one-day streams, which was previously held by One Direction‘s song ‘Drag Me Down’, which pulled in 4,759,698 plays on July 31 2015. The boyband had previously broken the record held by rapper Wiz Khalifa, who had 4.26 million streams in 24 hours for his song ‘See You Again’ on April 17 2015.

A 16-year old girl who was a victim of sexual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having s*x with men daily.
She narrated how an old man, who was their neighbour at Mile 12, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, lured her into s*x at seven and since then she cannot resist having s*x everyday.

The primary two pupil said if she did not see any man to have s*x with her in her area, she would go to a popular under bridge at Mile 12 Lagos and beg for s*x from touts.
She said she came from Enugu state to Lagos to live with her aunt after the death of her father.
Her case has become so serious that she had to be referred to an NGO, Community Health Support and Empowerment Initiative, COHSAEI, which has taken up the challenge to rehabilitate her.
The little girl said she was lured into s*x by a man she called Baba who lived with her aunt in the same compound.

She said the man (Baba) usually called her to his apartment whenever his wife and her aunt were not around and will put his finger inside her private part.

“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes andwhen I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my honeypot,” she narrated.

She said with time he started having real s*x with her. She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.
She said she has become addicted to s*x and cannot do without it.

“When I desire s*x and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” she said.

Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her. The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.
The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.
She said her organisation has started the process of rehabilitating her by carrying out series of tests on her to ascertain her health conditions.
Ingbia stressed the urgent need to relocate her from her present environment and start a new life for her.
She said her organisation has not been able to do so because of thefinancial cost of doing so.

How to cook egusi mixed with vegetables soup

Recipe for 4 servings
• 2 smoked catfish
• 1 kilogramme of lean beef
• 3 bunches of waterleaves (washed, shredded)
• 2 bunches of ugu (Pumpkin) leaves (washed, shredded)
• 2 small stockfish
• 3 cups of (melon) egusi (ground)
• 2 tablespoons of ground crayfish
• 1 onion (shredded)
• 4 red pepper (ground)
Method
Wash, salt, season, and cook the beef, stockfish and fish until the meat is quite tender. Continue the boiling and add the palm oil, crayfish, pepper and the onions, boil for another three minutes. Stir and add the ground egusi , cover and simmer for two minutes, before adding the shredded waterleaves and
ugu leaves. Stir thoroughly and simmer for two minutes. Remove from heat and serve alongside hot iyan, that is, pounded yam.

This year’s event took place last Sunday. Subway riders in Chicago and other cities around the world got an eyeful when their fellow transit users stripped down to their underwear.
According to the group, tens of thousands of people in more than 60 cities and 25 countries left their pants at home last year and walked almost n*ked while riding the train.
What are the rules? According to Improv Everywhere, “Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants.”
Though the event began in New York, people in cities from Portland to Paris to Prague are planning to participate this year.

When people are not married, they are viewed as people who are not responsible and ready to settle down.
In fact, marriage and wedding are so much exaggerated in form and words that you think something is wrong with you if you are not yet married.
As a matter of fact, a lot of people think that love equals marriage. All the sweet words, sacrifices, affection, passion, intimacy or sweetness of friendship have been placed at the centre of marriage.
So, if you are not married or you are a single parent, you think something is wrong with you. And that has made a lot of people worried. And with the sexual explosion, nothing seems to be better or sweeter than sex, which we say must be within the marriage vow.
We say behind every successful man is a woman, and same for every outstanding woman. We leave those not married under what and how they can be happy.
There are stigmatisations for people who are not married or do not have children. These labels are wrong and we have not got the information helpful.
True, marriage has its glories, but who says one cannot be happy, love and be loved and live fulfilled as a single?
I write today from that standpoint, and these things are true. For all the singles take note.
1. You Are Not Alone
The scripture in Genesis, where it was said that it was not good for a man to be alone, have been used out of context.
For God to say means that there was no other man, with Adam; all are animals.
Also, we must note that God did not create Eve for marriage, but for companionship and help. In fact, it was Adam who made Eve his wife.
As much as we say God instituted the marriage institution, I am yet to see where that happened. Don’t let anyone make you feel you are alone; look around, there are people. There are those who are married, but are still lonely and looking for that one satisfaction, that union of mind and soul.
2. We Need Friends
The Bible said in Proverbs 17 vs 17: “A friend loveth at all times.” That is what we need. If friendship does not lead to marriage, it is enough still as friendship. Why don’t we appreciate our friends?
I know a friend who said when he marries, his wife would be his best friend for life. And I was bothered. I asked him what the people in his life right now meant to him.
It is possible he is reserving his love for a person he hasn’t met. The love and affection of all the people around him right now means nothing until he finds the ‘Woman of his heart.’
What some persons do not know is that there are kinds of love. There is a love of a woman, which may not necessarily mean a wife, as it could be a mother or even sister or any other woman.
Then, there is brotherly love, there is a love for the law, our intellectual passion or love for arts or music.
We need a friend not bonded by any law, but love. Your spouse may be faithful to you, not because of love, but because of the vow of marriage made at the altar, which is not different from what you do when you enter a profession.
If you have good friends, be happy. One scripture that inspires this thought is in St John 13 vs 1, where it was said Jesus loved “His own,” which were in the world. He loved them to the very end. It wasn’t marriage that bonded them; it was love.
There are people that can love you, there are people given you to love. They are your world. Don’t be distressed and start running about looking for someone to say, “I love you and will marry you.” There are people around you already, those who love you, marriage or not.
Love is all that matters after all. If you are good with those around you now, you will be good with your spouse.
3. Not Everyone Will Marry
Sex is such a beautiful thing. But am afraid, we have turned the thirst to drunkenness. The desire is natural and okay, but we have made it intoxicating that we make most of our decisions around it.
The trouble in the world is that we are not content with what we have right now or who we are right now. More so, not everyone will marry, whether we like it or not. We could go for deliverance and have prophecies and match-making and all of that, but there are still certain persons that are not wired for the marriage thing.
Sometimes, I wish we just know that we cannot have everything to be happy. The social system and structure of our culture is our doom. There is no room for those of us who are least or weak or poor. We put up labels on people who do not meet the social strata that earn respect.
Many people marry today because they feel they will miss sex. They have fantasised that marriage will be kissing in the morning, foreplay, hard thrusting at night, weekend outings and vacations where you make love all day. And the way it is been talked about, you think your life is reduced without it.
For some, it is children. They want to have children, and it must be within wedlock. If the children do not come, I wonder what will become of that marriage.
My advice is, if marriage comes, good. If it doesn’t come, it is equally good. Never think you must marry to ever be happy or achieve all your goals.
4. Don’t Be In Hurry
Marriage will come, but be happy. Don’t ever believe that you must marry a particular person to be fulfilled. Yes, there are special persons, we know it when we meet them, but be sure. We should marry the mind of a person.
The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Anyone can love you, but the quality of the person, the way the person thinks and the persuasions of that person’s life is what makes the person.
Be careful who you commit your whole life to. Feelings fade! Don’t let anyone use any manipulation to woo your heart and make you slave to passion that are passive and temporal. Don’t be bound to the dictates of a wrong heart.
Someone may love you with all his or her heart, but if that heart is dark, dangerous and deceitful, that will be the colour of the love you will have from it. Take your time.
The heart is hidden behind smiles, gifts, gestures and courtesies. If you want to be happy, wait. God is the one who made the heart, He will send love and friends to you. He made you come through parents you didn’t choose, He will bring the right persons along the way.
